I made another game in canvas! This time I went for the classic flash game where you’re a helicopter in a cave trying to not hit the stalagmites & stalactites (think flappy bird but from 2000). Here’s the game:

I played with Canvas

I started to learn canvas, and one of the first things you learn how to do is make rectangles and circles. I decided to make a random circle generator just to figure out how to do it. Turns out it’s actually quite easy, well here it is.

Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard

I’m normally not a fan of promoting products, but this one has literally changed my life. As is semi common for a developer I started developing RSI about two years ago. I like all smart people pretty much ignored it for the first six months. After that I actually tried everything I could think of to make my wrists feel good, I would ice my wrists, use my mouse with my left hand, and not use my right hand for anything beyond typing. Nothing helped, and I pretty much just gave up and accepted my fate.

Simple Match Making Server using WebRTC

With my Ultimate Tic-Tac-Toe Game I’ve already tackled how to let users manually connect to each other with a unique ID. But now it’s time to take it a step further, how do you make it so users can connect with someone they don’t know? I figured it out in only a couple lines of JavaScript.
